You don't eat this mushroom, you get the benefits from a slow simmer, or using an alcohol extraction. Make it into a tea...slight "earthy" flavor so mix it with another tea...research has shown that alcohol extraction will damage the polysaccharides

Easy...make a tea...clean, break into small pieces...slow simmer for minium of 2 hours (much stronger tea when done in a crock pot for 24 hours)...strain, refrigerate, and drink...done.
